The Funeral Ministry consists of lay bereavement ministers (Funeral Ministers) who are appointed by the Church to provide the bereaved families with assistance and guidance on the Funeral Mass and Rites.

 

Funeral ministers are required to be present on the day of the funeral to accompany the body of the deceased to Church, assist the Celebrant at the Funeral Mass and thereafter to conduct the Rite of Committal at the crematorium.

We are in need of Funeral Ministers to assist the bereaved families. Training will be provided. If you are interested please contact us.
